Taylor Swift is an award-winning singer and songwriter who recently went on her Eras tour. On her last show in Nashville, the star, unfortunately, had a four-hour delay due to storming weather conditions. The show was being held in the Nissan Stadium where everyone attending was asked to shelter in the stadium and wait out the storm. Fans were made aware of the Shelter in Place being lifted when Nissan Stadium went on Twitter and tweeted “Drop everything now! Meet me in the pouring rain! Shelter in Place has officially been lifted! Fans, please start safely making your way to your seats. Once production wraps up, Taylor Swift will hit the stage!” Taylor finally took the stage in the Tennessean city around 9:30 p.m. local time.

The entire performance was an entire three and a half hours long. Attendees unfortunately weren’t able to hear from openers Phoebe Bridgers and Bracie Abrams, but Taylor still made her entire performance worth it. An hour into her performance it started to rain. Despite the rain Taylor and her crew continued to perform until two am. Fans applauded Taylor’s generosity with some taking to Twitter and stating “You will never convince me this woman doesn’t love her fans I don’t care what you say. Anyone else would’ve canceled and refunded.” Afterward, Taylor also took to her Twitter and stated “WELL. We had our first rain show of the Eras Tour. And it was SO MUCH FUN. The dancers, band, crowd, and I all pretty much turned into little kids joyfully jumping in puddles all night. I wanted to thank the crowd again for waiting for the weather to clear. And my amazing crew for keeping the stage, lighting, and equipment all dry and working so we could play. That was a late, great night I won’t forget.” Taylor is set to end her Eras Tour on August 9, 2023, in Inglewood, California.
