FCCLA Club Spotlight

What is FCCLA? FCCLA stands for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. The club is a national student organization that helps students become leaders by addressing important issues like personal growth, family, work, and various societal issues. It was founded in 1945 and Kentucky had the first charter. FCCLA partakes in events like face painting at football games, cake mix drives, and other fundraisers to help its members and community. The group has differing levels of authority. There are: officers (regional), a President, Vice President, Secretary, etc. This year we have new regional officers’ Emily Welch is the VP for membership for region 15.   

Dues to join are $20 and this includes an FCCLA T-Shirt. FCCLA is face painting at ALL home football games, they are also hosting bake sales after school on 10/18/18, 10/13/18, and 11/14/18. 11/8/18 through 11/10/18 .  FCCLA members will be at the cluster meeting in Louisville, KY.
