Hmmm, Climate Change? Whats That?

This DESTRUCTIVE occurrence is a change in global or regional climate patterns, in particular, a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onward and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels.

This change has caused a lot of crises to the world. In just the last 4 years, it has raised 3 degrees Celsius in the arctic since the 1990’s! It could cause more damage possibly over the years, but it could have huge impacts on our world in the future.

Most of the disadvantages caused by climate change are; hurricanes, flooding, fires, pollution from factories, hot weather, cold weather, and the possibility to kill animals. The advantages of climate change are that it gives good rain to the deserts that have no water and help increase the animal population there and could also be beneficial to plants.

Brooklyn Tillery stated, “Climate change affects the world until people change their ways. The world is changing because of people’s actions and it can easily be prevented. It’s melting Antarctica and changing where people live, especially where the animals live”.

Grace Russell stated, “Majority of the situations are obviously not good for the environment and have bad long-lasting effects. For example I won’t have food that farmers produce that climate change may affect. At the rate of climate change happening it could possibly last 10 years.” She also states, “Climate change has disadvantages and advantages to it. The heat from climate change causes no rain and in some places it causes flooding. Flooding can sometimes be a good thing, like it helps out with adding water to dry deserts for the plants and animals that need it”.

Patrick Boggs, Carolyn Boggs & Makyla Boggs all stated the same thing thing which was, “It’s not good for our world and that’s possibly why the world is struggling today because of the pollution being put in the air from so many fires and businesses (factories) “.

Joseph Lester stated earlier when I had asked him in class that, “I’m not really worried about it because we all end up dying someday by something that’s not normal, so why not by climate change…” I later told him that it’s not good and he said to me “That it may not be good but nothing is good unless you try to make it good. “
