The NBA Season Is At The Halfway Point Of The Season

The NBA is almost at its traditional All-Star break in February.  This year has been very different and since the NBA started in late December almost around Christmas, there were not many games for the first half of the season. The NBA looked very different by there being 0 fans in any of the NBA arenas. As of Friday, February 5th the Philadelphia 76ers lead the Eastern Conference with a record of 16 wins and 7 losses. The 76ers are led by Joel Embid and Ben Simmons.  The Bucks are right behind the 76ers with a record of 13-8 and they are led by forward Giannis Antetokounmpo. As of Friday, February 5th in the Western conference the Utah Jazz lead with a record of 17 wins and 5 losses, and they are led by guard Donavon Mitchell. Coming in second is the Los Angeles Clippers with a record of 17 wins and 6 losses. The Clippers are led by forwards Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. Right now the player averaging the most points is Bradley Beal with 33.3 points per game. He is on the Washington Wizards and they have a record of 5 wins and 14 losses. The rebounding leader as of the 2020-21 season is the Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela and he is averaging about 14.6 rebounds per game. The player who averaged the most assist per game is Brooklyn Nets guard James Harden and he is averaging 11.2 assists per game.
