Rapper 6 dogs, whose real name was Chase Amick, has died at the age of 21. He passed away from an apparent suicide on Jan. 26th The cause of death has not been officially confirmed.

There were a lot of tributes posted on social media when the death was reported from Benny Blanco, Yung Gravy, Danny Wolf, and many more. His death was confirmed on February 4th when a statement was posted on 6 dogs Instagram account.

The post wrote “Chase was born on May 5, 1999, in Dahlonega, Georgia. He entered the world with only one small cry and then began gazing at his surroundings. That is very much the way he lived his life…observing, contemplating, and quietly using his intuition, grace, and humor to influence others. Chase relished insightful conversations, intriguing possibilities, and interacting with others to positively influence their lives. Countless people have expressed that he impacted the course of their lives forever. Chase’s memory lives on in his family, many friends, and fans who journeyed with him in his life and now send him on his way while awaiting a joyful reunion with him in heaven.”

The rapper who was based in Atlanta had many hits including “Faygo Dreams”, “Someone”, “Buttcheeks”, and “Flossing”. The last album he dropped was in 2019, called “Hi-Hats & Heartaches”. One of his most famous albums is “6 Dogs”, which was released in 2017. He dropped many singles and Eps in 2020 including “Flex 4 No Reason (feat. Yung Pinch)”, “Burberry Weather”, and “Energy”.

Chase teased the release of a new album on Twitter on November 8, and his last tweet was on November 9th. He posted a screenshot of Ray Daniels’ post. The screenshot read “If you have friends in the music biz call them and check on them. This rat race that we are all in is not cool. Some days I feel like a superhero who can take over the world and some days I just want to cry and quit. I know I’m not alone. I know a lot of us to feel this way.” The rapper has struggled with his mental health for a long time. He said various times that music was the only reason that he was still alive.

Amick’s next album, which was initially called “Wavebuilder’s Club”, was set to be released on February 26th, 2021. His real first name was Ronald, but he always wanted to be called Chase. He decided to rename the album and he was excited to release his album. The new name for this album is called “RONALD” and will be released on March 12th, 2021.
