Zendaya is a 26-year-old American actress she’s portrayed as the lead character “Rue Bennet” on the popular HBO show Euphoria. The show has two seasons and the next season is said to release in 2024, because every episode reportedly takes one month to shoot. Starring in the show has also awarded Zendaya in becoming the first black woman to win two Emmy Awards in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category. When accepting her awards she went on and said “My greatest wish for Euphoria was that it could help heal people. I just want to say thank you to everyone who has shared their story with me. I want you to know that anyone who has loved a Rue or feels like they are a Rue, I want you to know I’m so grateful for your stories, and I carry them with me, and I carry them with her.”

New reports have circulated that Zendaya has negotiated a new contract with HBO and will be paid $1 million per episode in the new season of Euphoria. The new contract comes as no surprise seeing how successful the series is with averaging 16.3 million viewers per episode and most of the popularity being for Zendaya’s portrayal. Zendaya is now being placed with fellow $1 million members including the “Friends”  leading cast and the lead cast of “Game of Thrones” with her new salary income. Zendaya has now possibly become the youngest highest-paid Black female actor. Zendaya is also working as an executive producer on the third season of the series. The news has divided people with some saying she doesn’t deserve it and portrays the same acting in every role she plays with others saying she deserves every penny that she is given and even more. No representative of Zendaya or Zendaya herself has spoken out about the new contract.
