The Paris-Bourbon County Farmers Market in downtown Paris is open these days of the year; March-April on Saturdays from 9 AM-1 PM, May-October on Tuesdays from 4 PM-6 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM-1 PM, and November-December on Saturdays from 9 AM-1 PM. The Market in Bourbon County has all kinds of goods such as jam, jelly, dried fruit, fresh baked goods, jerky, and many more including beef, lamb, pork, etc. It’s a good way to get out of the house to adventure and look around at the local farmers market. Not only do they have amazing goods, but also they have a play area for children where they can go around and pretend as though they are shopping. This play area is colorful and holds produce, candy, and more, much like the “grown-up” shopping area, but with things that are kid-friendly. They also have tractors and trucks for them to drive around, not only all of that but also they even have a chalkboard where the little ones doodle. This Market is indoor but they have outdoor markets every once in a while. The farmers market has fresh flowers, eggs, and more. They carry many goods such as produce and meat that are guaranteed to be farm fresh. It is not far from your home if you live in downtown Paris; you wouldn’t even need a car you could walk. On October 22, 2023, the farmers market is having “The Lucky 13 Market” from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM. There will be music, vendors, and food trucks outside of the town center mall. There will also be many kinds of goodies such as cake pops, jam, jewelry, and more. There will be a plethora of fun activities to do, making it a good way for anyone to spend their Saturday. You can go with friends and family and have a great time. Keep a lookout on the Paris-Bourbon County Farmers Market on Facebook and Instagram @bourboncountyfarmersmarket.

Hello, my name is Breanna and I am 15 years old! I am in Journalism ll for the year of 2023-2024. I live on a farm and love being around animals especially my baby bottle calf, Star. I like watching movies and series, especially horror ones. I have two sisters named Hannah and Brooklin and a half-brother named Aaron. I like dogs, especially pugs; I’m a very quiet and shy person, who rarely talks to new people. I love being around babies because they are so adorable. Finally, I want to become a NICU nurse so that I could help babies and be around them.
