Even though we know who is playing in this year’s Super Bowl, if you don’t know it’s the 49ers against the Chiefs. This year’s Super Bowl will be in Las Vegas for the first time on Sun, February 11 at 6:30 pm. Lots of people want to know who will be performing during halftime, and so far we know that Usher, the king of R&B will be performing during the halftime show. Usher says that it’s the honor of a lifetime and that he will be checking this performance off of his bucket list. Also for the first time the halftime show will be presented by Apple Music. Usher said in a statement to Billboard “I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before. Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.” Usher also unveiled a trailer for the halftime show and he also said that this has been 30 years in the making. Before the game gets underway Reba McEntire, Post Malone and Andra Day will also step up to the mic. The person who will perform the national anthem is McEntire, Malone is going to sing “America the Beautiful,” and Day is going to sing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” The Super Bowl is coming up fast, are people going to like the show or not? We will figure that out this weekend. Will the performances go as planned, or will there be mess-ups? The real question is, who do you think is going to win this weekend’s Super Bowl?
