Jacob Elordi was involved in a police investigation by Australian law enforcement after allegedly assaulting a radio producer on Saturday. The “Saltburn” actor was at a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs when he was approached by Joshua Fox, who is a producer for “The Kyle & Jackie O Show” on KIIS FM. According to Fox’s interpretation of the situation on the show Monday morning, he asked Elordi if he could have some of his bathwater for Jackie O for her birthday, a reference to the viral bathtub scene in “Saltburn.” The scene consists of the actor Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan) stalking and then later slurping up the bathwater of Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi). Elordi asked Fox to stop filming and delete the footage, and then the situation allegedly escalated. In audio from the incident shared on Sunday’s episode of the radio show, Elordi is heard asking Fox to stop recording. “Are you kidding? Are you filming? Can you not, man, please?” he says. Fox claims he stopped recording their interaction at Elordi’s request and agreed not to use the video. That’s when Elordi allegedly got up in his face” and demanded that he delete the footage. Fox said on a show, “I refused to (delete the footage) because I feel uncomfortable right now and this is the only evidence, and then Jacob kind of just flips and kind of pushes me against the wall and his hands are on my throat.” Fox said he then walked away, and that one of Elordi’s friends followed him and made him promise to not share the video with anyone and not tell anyone about the altercation. “Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs,” a statement from NSW Police reads. “Police were told about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday 3 February 2024, a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man. The man did not sustain any injuries. Inquiries into the incident are continuing.” Sources are waiting for more information on the incident.
