This past Sunday, February 4th in Las Vegas the 66th annual Grammy Award Show was hosted by four-time Grammy host, Author, comedian, and producer Trevor Noah. The night was filled with amazing performances from SZA, Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and many others. As nominations were announced and Grammys were given out, much controversy came with the awards, however, the outfits did not disappoint. Many striking outfits were photographed on the red carpet wearing all black, leather, mesh, and even masks. While others went for a more simple but chic look wearing plain dresses, suits, and monochromatic outfits. Blue Ivy, was walking the red carpet at only 12 years old with her parents, Beyonce and Jay Z. She was wearing a custom off-white Vivienne Westwood midi ball gown styled draped skirt. Paired with white Larroude boots. Blue Ivy attended the stage with her dad as he received the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award.
Miley Cyrus walked out in a carefully crafted gold mesh dress with beading and gold chains, created and designed by Maison Margiela. The dress was beautiful and definitely paid off because later on that night she won her first Grammy for her hit song “Flowers”.
In first place for the best dressed was Dua Lipa, who was shining in a head-to-toe dazzling low-cut silver chainmail gown with two hip cutouts, from Courreges. The stunning dress was paired with a beautiful silver necklace and many unique rings. Dua Lipa performed first with her new song “Houdini”. Dua Lipa performed wearing an all-black mesh and leather whilst also singing and dancing.
This year’s Grammys outfits were interesting, unique, and stunning. Can’t wait for the years to come with better designs and new outfit ideas for new trends to start.
