The Cyrus family is in the middle of an alleged love triangle involving Noah Cyrus and her mother Tish’s newly wedded husband Dominic Purcell, but it’s a tough story to wrap your brain around. Now, sources are saying that Miley had no clue that any of this was going on. Tish Cyrus (56) married the 54-year-old actor Dominic Purcell, in August of 2023, who was allegedly reported to be previously dating her youngest daughter, Noah Cyrus (24). “Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends-with-benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something up,” an unidentified source told People. The insider claimed that Noah and Purcell had previously hooked up and stopped seeing each other before the actor and Tish had pursued their relationship. The insider also said that Tish was aware of the relationship between Noah and Dominic. Adding to the alleged mother/daughter tension, the source said, “Tish never gave Noah the chance to talk about all of this before they got married.” Noah spent her mother’s wedding day with her brother Braison Chance. “Tish was the one who did not invite Noah and Braison to her wedding and blocked them on Instagram after she pursued Dominic. It was Tish who requested security at her wedding to keep Noah and Braison out,” a source told ET. Miley Cyrus, reportedly let it be known how she felt about the situation between her mother and sister. At first, “Miley had no idea about the drama with Dominic. No idea at all,” an insider says. “She confronted her mom about it. She thinks it’s a strange situation, but she loves her mom and wants her to be happy,” the insider adds. Another source told PEOPLE that the younger Cyrus sister “was offended” over her mom’s relationship with Purcell. Tish and Purcell’s marriage took place over a year after Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce from Tish in April 2022, following over 28 years of marriage. The former couple shares daughters Brandi, (36), Miley, and Noah, as well as sons Trace, (35), and Braison, (29). Billy Ray is also dad to 31-year-old Christopher Cody from a previous relationship. The divorce wasn’t “easy for any of the kids,” an insider told People separately, adding that the “separation was really hard, but it was also long overdue.”
