Dan Schenider, Man or Monster? Schneider is most known for his producing of hit Nickelodeon shows such as: Icarly, Sam and Cat, victorious, The Amanda show, Zoey 101 and many other infamous shows. Everyone knows the stars and the shows that built their childhood, but do they know the man who is behind the works.
Dan Schneider had his rise to fame in the 80’s when he moved from Memphis Tennessee to L.A to pursue his acting career. Then he went on to perform in comedies such as Making the Grade, The Big Picture, Better of dead, and Head of Class. Nearly a decade later after he got his foot in the door, and his name out there, he was approached by Nickelodeon. There he was offered a job to sketch out a series called All That. After that series he started to take off. Every show and movie on nickelodeon wanted him to produce. However, as more actors and actresses started to work with him, the more allegations that would be released.
Countless women and young girls reported inappropriate comments, suggestions, and touching being done by schneider. Other reporters were also being taken in, speaking of verbal, physiological, and physical abuse that was being done by the famous producer. Finally his time on Nickelodeon came to an end in March of 2018 when the allegations caught up to him. With the split from the network, ViacomCBS also released an investigation for sexual misconduct but found no evidence. However they concluded that Schendier was Verbally abusive on set.
Hundreds of interviews would ask about the allegations and evidence, but Dan would deny all of the allegations and have no comments. Although he denied all acts of abuse and misconduct that didn’t stop the press. Recently on March 17th the documentary series “Quiet on set” released an episode on the abuse of Dan Schneider. With the documentary many of his allegations are coming to light again and it has stirred up the internet, leading many to question other actors and actresses of being affected by the abuse.
