Cole Brings Plenty was found dead next to a discarded vehicle off of a highway April 5th, just three days after being officially declared missing in response to an alleged domestic violence incident. Cole Brings Plenty, 27, was best known for his most recent work on the Yellowstone prequel series, “1923”. Brings Plenty was last seen, according to a social media post made by his father, Mo Brings Plenty, March 31st leaving the “Lawrence Area”. According to official police reports, Cole Brings Plenty was officially declared missing April 2nd, 2024.
Amid this modern era of social media and rampant misinformation, a lot of what actually occurred has been lost and not even released as of now. The information officially released through Mo Brings Plenty publicist, Michelle Shining Elk, Cole has been missing from the family since Easter evening despite what police reports have been saying. Legally and officially, Cole Brings Plenty was reported missing April 2nd in response to an alleged domestic violence call on his residence. Mo Brings Plenty in response, posted this on his Instagram. “We don’t know–FOR A FACT–that Cole was involved in the incident that he is alleged to have been a part of, we don’t know—FOR A FACT—that Cole was behind the wheel or in his 2005 Ford Explorer when cameras caught it leaving Lawrence, KS, on U.S. 59.” (USA Today).
Like most things, what truly happened is lost under a wave of information coming from every direction. Online, many users across social media have been spreading that Cole Brings Plenty was murdered, an abuser, and had his hair cut in an act of racial hatred. All of this is simply horrid speculation. Neither Mo Brings Plenty or the Kansas Police Department have officially said anything on all accounts. The official cause of death hasn’t even been determined and released. It’s simply too soon in the investigation for anything definitive.
