Do people not realize how underpaid and overworked teachers are? I witness every day how so much disrespect is given to teachers, students and parents. For one, what gives a parent the right to disrespect a teacher for doing their job? If you are going to yell at your student’s teachers for telling you that your student is misbehaving in their class then it is on you not the teacher they do get paid enough to deal with all of your chaotic children. The students that teachers have to deal with absolute chaos. They have so many students they have crammed into tiny classrooms.
They are not paid enough to deal with the school system’s chaos and despair. Teachers have to deal with so much in a day, including teachers having to deal with mouthy students and parents. Then the teachers have to deal with the school board yelling at them for not following the expectations they have set for them. Most of the teachers at my school are nice and helpful. They do not deserve the disrespect they get from students.
Teachers are not paid enough to deal with parents getting mad at them because their children are not getting good grades. Do parents expect teachers to fix their children’s grades all because the parent sends angry emails to their child’s teacher? Parents need to teach their children how to buckle down and work hard to pass their classes. Does this generation of parents not realize what their child is doing in their classes? No disrespect intended here but y’all need to be more active in your child’s education if you want them to succeed in their life.
Also to the parents teach your children to respect their elders and teach them right from wrong.
Also to all the teachers there, you all are doing great and keep doing what you’re doing. You all do such a great job you all deserve more praise for putting up with us all day.
