Kentucky authorities captured two inmates who escaped from jail on November 3rd.
Adam Ball and Bradley Cornwell are back behind bars after a week of being on the run.
It’s unclear where both were placed upon capture, but it was stated that 40-year-old Bradley Cornwell is to be held at the Bourbon County Detention Center, while 38-year-old Adam Ball is to be held at the Fayette County Detention Center. The last time the inmates were seen was the Shell on Iron Works Pike and could have been heading to Scott County after finally getting caught after about a week of being on the run in the Russell Springs. They said that the pair could have been dangerous and armed.
Both of the men were said to have escaped from Blackburn Correctional Facility. This correctional facility opened in 1972 and has around 320 inmates today. Also, the correction facility has low security. Moreover, the facility provides government jobs for the inmates along with housing and other accommodations. They were said to have allegedly escaped from the facility by a water truck that arrived on November 3rd. Both men are facing second-degree escape charges with their bond set at $25,000. Cornwall also faces a second-degree fleeing charge due to trying to get away from Bourbon County Police on foot, so Cornwall also has an additional $2,000 bond.
Ball was serving a 14-year sentence for charges of conspiracy to theft by an unlawful taking such as receiving stolen property fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment, and criminal mischief, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections. On the other hand, Cornwell was serving a 10-year prison sentence for charges of possession of a controlled substance, bail jumping, fleeing, and evading police as criminal mischief and wanton endangerment stated by the police officers at the department in Georgetown ky.
