The Bourbon County Middle School’s girls’ basketball team played at home against the Lady Jackets of Nicholas County. With only seven players, our sixth-grade girl’s team beat the Lady Jackets. In the next game, our seventh-grade girls’ team started out the game by winning the tip and making a three-pointer. By the end of the game, the seventh grade lost to Nicholas County. For the final game of the night, the eighth-grade girl’s team were prepared to win; after a long battle the eighth grade ended up losing by a few points to the Lady Jackets.
