Recently an epidemic has been hitting high schools all over the world called Hydro flasks. Hydro flask is a company that sells a variety of products. One of the most popular items that they sell is their water bottles. These water bottles have recently swept over the younger generations to buy.  These water bottles seem to be nothing special, they are just simply stainless steel water bottles that are made to keep the liquids in it cold. Although these waterbottles sound simplistic, they range from $40-$50.

Although These water bottles don’t look special and your probably thinking “what makes this water bottle so special?” These water bottles are actually very neat due to them being Vaccum insulated, which means that the temperature outside of the water bottle does not affect the inside temperature of the liquid. It has a double-wall vacuum insulated which claims it to have no condensation on the outside of the bottle. These bottles are claimed to be easy to clean due to it being stainless steel and will not absorb smells, taste, or any bacteria. These bottles are claimed to keep your liquids cold for twenty-four hours and your hot drink hot for twelve hours.  These water bottles also come with a lifetime warranty and are in various colors.

The question we all want to know is why have these water bottles gotten so popular so fast if they have been a company since 2009? The answer to this we can’t really know all we know is that Hydro flask started popping up everywhere from outdoor supplies to even teaming up with Yeti when it was popular, and now even showing up in high school classrooms in Bourbon County High School. So really it’s everyone else’s opinion are these water bottles worth the expensive price or are they just everywhere due to it becoming the social trend.
