On November 12, 2019, Disney + was launched. Disney + is an app that is owned and operated by the Direct-to-Consumer & International division of The Walt Disney Company. Basically, Disney + is all of our favorite shows and movies all in one app. And for just $7 a month, you can have it. The service appears to be a big success already. In little more than a day, Disney said the service had more than 10 million sign-ups. According to Cowen analysts, Disney + subscriptions ballooned to an estimated 24 million subscribers three weeks later. Also, it was 2019’s top trending Google search term. As you can see, Disney Plus was a big hit!

When asked “Do you like Disney Plus”, sophomore Austin Brainard said, “ Yes, because it has all the t.v. shows and movies on it from Disney. Sophomore Arielle Teegarden said, “ Yes because it is funny and it reminds me of my childhood. Sophomore Skylar Bowling said, “ Yeah, I think it is actually pretty good.” From the look of it, lots of students love and think the app is good.

When asked a basic overview of the app, Austin Brainard said, “ Yes, I think it was a good idea to make because, as I said before, it has all the movies and t.v. shows. My favorite t.v. show on Disney Plus is Good Luck Charlie. I use the app a couple of times a week. I would recommend the app to others if they had time to watch it.” Arielle Teegarden said, “ I do think it was a good idea to make the app because it’s funny and I can watch it in school. My favorite movie is Cloud 9. I use the app every day. And I would recommend it to others.”  Skylar Bowling said, “ Yeah, it was a good idea to make because we all would like to watch old Disney movies that were our favorites. I like Wizards of Waverly Place a lot. I use it about two times a month maybe. Yeah, I would recommend the app to others, it is actually pretty good.” As you can see, Disney Plus was a great idea to make.
