BCHS vs. PHS

On February 8th, 2020 the Bourbon County High School boys basketball team played against the Paris High School boys basketball team. To begin the game the starting five, Brycen Collins, Jack Huckabay, Mukonkole “Koko” Lukonga, Nakyir “Scrap” Joyce, and Amirion “Aj” Joyce, lost the tip and had to play defense first. The Colonels were behind until the last two minutes of the first quarter. From then on out the Colonels kept a strong lead for the rest of the game. In the second quarter of the game, Paris got a technical, allowing us to get an even stronger lead of twelve points before halftime. With the remaining time in the half, Paris came back and at halftime, the score was 34-39 Colonels. By the end of the third quarter, Bourbon had a better lead of 39-52 going into the final quarter. At the start of the fourth, Paris came back and stopped Bourbon from scoring until the Colonels went on a run getting the score to 62-76. In the end, Bourbon County won against Paris 73-81.
