Tabitha Estrada, words can not describe how this woman has changed not only my life but everyone else’s around her. For the past sixteen years of my life, she has always been there for me when I needed her the most, she is always there when anyone needs her. When you first see her you would think of her just like your ordinary mother, but her story is much deeper than that.

Her life wasn’t always the easiest, but that never stopped her from being the best person she was always destined to be. There has never been a day where she hasn’t done something for someone else even if it takes time out of her own day to do it. She has always put everyone before her, and that’s something that I think makes her so heroic. It takes a lot of heart and love to be able to do something like that. Every day she always wakes up with a grateful heart even when it isn’t the easiest thing to do. When I was going through my toughest times she would always be there, she would listen to my struggles while she told me everything would be okay.

She may not be the most prominent person in the world but to me, she is my hero, she is someone who I see as someone who I want to be one day, she is what I strive to be everyone day I wake up. She is more than a hero to me but to everyone else. Everyone who she works for always loves her, they love her authenticity and pride in her work.

To me a hero isn’t necessarily someone who will be the most open and smartest, it isn’t always the one who you expect. A hero can be in your heart and in who you are trying to be. She may not be the most famous person or not the most prominent but she is in my life and I’m so grateful for that. She tries hard every day even when it seems impossible and I think that is what truly is the most heroic and most interesting story to a person, how they handle their heart and love.
