In the Bourbon County Boys Middle School Basketball game on the 20th of January 2021, only the seventh and eighth-grade team played against Campbell County. During the seventh-grade game, bourbon led the entire game. The score at halftime being 29-15 bourbon. The final score of the game was 58-37 Colonels win. The eighth-grade game however went back and forth in the first quarter until the second quarter when Campbell got and small lead on bourbon ending the half at 15-20 Campbell leading. The final score of the game was 41-45 Campbell beating Bourbon.
