Popular Detroit rapper Babyface Ray dropped his first album in 2022 called “Face.” It dropped on January 28 and has been very popular. The rapper is one of the biggest rappers from Detroit and has become popular nationally. Some of his best selling projects include “The Last One Left,” “MIA Season 2,” and “Unfuckwitable.”

The album consists of 20 tracks and has features from Icewear Vezzo, Yung Lean, G Herbo, 42 Dugg, and more. Some popular songs are “6 Mile Show (feat. Icewear Vezzo),” “Sincerely Face,” and “Blood Sweat & Tears (feat. G Herbo).” It’s approximately an hour long. In an interview with Complex the rapper said, “There are a lot of different staples on there. I listened to a lot of CDs in my lifetime, and I really think that this CD is one of them. And this my debut album to introduce me to the industry.”

When asked a few questions about his overall album senior CJ Gann said, “The album was really good, it was one of his better albums. My favorite song on there is Tunnel vision and my favorite feature is 42 Dugg. I think in its first week he’ll make around 15K. Yes, I would probably recommend this album to someone else because I like it.”
Senior Blake Hudnall said, “I didn’t think the album was that good, it was mid. My favorite song is Richard Flair and my favorite feature was G Herbo. I think it could get around 3K or more sales in its first week. No, I wouldn’t really recommend it because the album wasn’t really my type.”
In my opinion the album was good. I liked a lot of the songs with Sincerely Face being my favorite song. I didn’t really have a favorite feature, I wished the features were a little better. I think the album could get anywhere between 5-15K sales in its first week.

The album is streaming on all platforms now!
