On March 4, 2022 rappers YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Dababy dropped a collaborative mixtape. Fans were excited for this, especially because of YoungBoy. The mixtape was released through record labels Never Broke Again, Interscope Records, South Coast Music Group, and Atlantic Records. It consisted of 12 tracks, being 34 minutes long.

Each time YoungBoy drops something he gets better and better! The rapper has one of the largest fan bases, with some of the most supportive fans. Some hit songs are “On this Line,” “Hit,” “Bestie,” and “Neighborhood Superstar.” NBA always has songs on the Hot Billboard 100. As of now he has two, those being “Neighborhood Superstar (with Dababy),” and his own single, “I Hate YoungBoy”. His single, which dropped in late February was a diss track towards many people including Lil Durk, Lil Baby, Gucci Mane, and Boosie Basazz.

According to Chart Data, YoungBoy has ranked as the number one most streamed artist on YouTube US every single week in 2022. Lots of people loved the mixtape, and of course some people didn’t. In my opinion I liked the mixtape. While I’m not a big fan of Dababy, it was still good. Some of my favorite songs are “Hit,” “Little to A Lot,” and “Neighborhood Superstar.” YoungBoy has recorded lots of collaborative mixtapes and I think it’s a good move, especially since it gives the collaborative rapper more views/fans. I probably would’ve liked it more if there were features. Overall it was a good mixtape.

When asked for a basic overview of the mixtape, senior Blake Hudnall said, “I didn’t really like the album because of a certain artist on it. I liked “On this Line” and “BBL.” I wish Dababy wasn’t on the album, but I wish Lil baby, 2kbaby, and maybe Drake were on it. Overall the album was mid.”

The mixtape is now streaming on all platforms!
