Britney Spears accuses her parents of pure abuse throughout her life. She says she had been mentally abused for thirteen years. This first started when Britney had a public breakdown in 2008. Following a year of erratic behavior, such as shaving her head and attacking the paparazzi’s car with an umbrella. After that happened she was put on a ‘5150 hold’ in a psychiatric hospital for a mental health evaluation. When she was first admitted to the hospital” Britney’s father claims painting, jewelry, and other valuables had been taken from her home. She went to the UCLA Medical Center and was released after a week of treatment. Right after she left the Medical center she checked into the Beverly Hill Hotel. After she was released the court allowed her father to be granted temporary conservatorship over her and her estate. Britney’s mother then put a restraining order on her friend Sam Lutfi because she claims he crushed pills and snuck them into her food. The restraining order was accepted and Sam Lutfi wasn’t allowed within 250 yards of Britney Spears. 

After she was released from the hospital she posted a video of her saying she had been abused. Britney claims that her mother shunned her, lied to her, and exploited her while pretending to be a model parent. Britney’s mother (Lynne Spears) also made her attend three A.A meetings per week, even though she hates alcohol. In an Instagram post” Britney posted she claims she is angrier with her mother (Lynne Spears) than she is with her father (Jamie Spears). In a later statement that Britney gave” she claims that her mother claims she “had no idea what was going on ” when the conservatorship began even though she knew about the arrangements for weeks. While the conservatorship was in effect Britney was forced to keep a job working from eight am to six pm, working seven days a week. She wasn’t allowed to go anywhere or do anything because of her mother. Britney’s mother would go out every night with Britney’s younger sister and have drinks and go see her boyfriend but Britney had to stay home and do nothing.
