Netflix’s 2016 Stranger Things starring actress Millie Bobby Brown has been through many changes throughout the years; she’s been in the public eye since she turned 13 years old. Now, five years later, she’s 18 and an “adult” in the eyes of the law; it’s seemingly turning the heads of creeps and gross comments. In her recent premiere for the fourth season of Stranger Things, Brown was almost unrecognizable from her first appearance in 2016. Her fringed blonde hair was far off the trail from the buzz cut she wore in her portrayal as Eleven, some even compared her to Brittany Spears.

Many rumors have speculated about her newfound look, commenting on the way her appearance makes her look way older than she is. Even before she turned 18, Millie seemed to dress like a grown woman for her Stranger Things premieres, but as a result, Millie suffered from creepy tweets and messages about her appearance. She previously spoke up about the “gross” sexualization she felt in Hollywood as a teen. She stated that being sexualized on top of the everyday struggles of a teenager “can be overwhelming.” She added, “I have definitely been dealing with that more in the last couple of weeks of turning 18. I’m definitely seeing a difference between the way people act and the way the press and social media react to my coming of age. It’s gross.”

Despite all the disgusting and ridiculous comments on the young star’s looks, Millie is still casting herself in the last season of Stranger Things which is expected to come out on February 17th, 2022. Millie is living her life as an adult and is ignoring inappropriate comments about herself. This girl is strong and she’s dealing with the fame in her own way, can’t wait to see her play Eleven in the show’s finale.
