Harry Styles, the man, the myth, the legend, attended the 2023 Brit Awards on February 11, 2023. Harry Styles, the world-renowned British singer and songwriter he is, came to the award show where British music artists gather from all over the world. After winning multiple awards, Harry seemingly made it his mission to have a night that not only himself, but millions would remember.

Harry came to the event dressed to impress. He appeared at the event wearing a sleek black suit including a flared jacket and pants paired with a large flower choker necklace. The internet had already started to gawk at Harry after seeing how overwhelmingly large the flower seemed to be. Many fans disliked the unique outfit, but many also loved it because the star seems to pull off anything and still appeal to many audiences.

Harry began the show performing his latest album’s biggest hit, ‘As It Was’, starting off the night fun and exciting. There were four awards the talented artist was nominated for: best artist, pop/R&B act, best song, and best album of the year. He then continued to win all four awards and accepted the awards along with a memorable speech, thanking everyone who helped him get where he is today. Harry stated, “I want to thank my mom for signing me up for X factor without telling me, so I literally wouldn’t be here without you” and “ I want to thank Niall, Louis, Liam, and Zayn, so I wouldn’t be here without you either. Thank you so much. And I’m really, really grateful for this.” Fans were astonished as the singer mentioned his past band members from the famous British boy band that split up in 2016, One Direction. He also acknowledged other female artists, as the Brits had decided to dissolve all gender-based categories, stating, “ I’m very aware of my privilege up here tonight.” and “So, this award is for Rina, Charli, Florence, Mabel, and Becky”

The famous singer-songwriter continued to amaze fans after he accepted his song of the year award for ‘As It Was’ and he began to walk off stage. Harry and the famous singer, Lewis Capaldi, began to walk toward each other and shared a brief kiss and hug in front of everyone. Many videos were shared of the moment, and soon enough the affectionate moment was going viral.

The 2023 Brits Awards was surely one of the most memorable in history. Harry Styles showed up stylishly, performed, and created memorable moments for the world to see.
