About Bc Colonels Today
The News You Need, the Truth You Deserve.
Bc Colonels Today is an independent digital news publication covering the stories that matter to everyday Americans: crime and courtroom developments, public safety, consumer alerts, travel news, and the viral moments everyone is talking about.
Our Story
Bc Colonels Today was founded by Jaxon Kaeppel, who has wanted to work in journalism for as long as he can remember. Instead of waiting for a newsroom to open its doors, he built one. What started as a personal goal has become a daily news platform with one simple purpose: giving readers clear, accurate, and timely news they can actually use.
What We Cover
- Crime & Courts: Arrests, charges, trials, sentencings, and the outcomes of cases across the country.
- Public Safety: Stories that affect the safety of families, children, and communities.
- Consumer & Travel News: Cruise policy changes, payment and privacy warnings, travel deals, and the fine print companies don’t always explain.
- Viral & Human Interest: The videos and stories getting attention online, with the facts behind them, plus inspiring stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
Our Standards
- Accuracy first. We report from court records, police statements, official documents, and credible published reports, and we attribute our sources.
- Presumption of innocence. People who are charged with a crime are innocent until proven guilty. We use words like “alleged” and “accused” until a court decides.
- Corrections. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction. You can report an error through our Contact Us page.
- Independence. Advertising never decides what we cover or how we cover it.
